Random, Thoughts, X,XXIV

It’s emotional to me because I know God kept me here for a reason when all the doctors said I wouldn’t make it and I can’t figure out what He wants me to do.
My father survived the impossible and was around an additional 20 years. He often wondered why. A wise man way smarter than me once told him “you’ll likely never know, and you’ve probably already done it. Thank G-d every day, keep moving forward.”

For the record, I’m glad you’re still here.

Thank you.

Just now, I witnessed a local TV reporter pronounce “important” as “impor’ent.” This would never have occurred during my brief stint in broadcasting (late ‘70s / early ‘80s). Professional broadcast journalists endeavored to pronounce words perfectly. “W” was “double-you,” not “dubya.”

Is it normal walking down the hallway throwing up middle fingers when you randomly hear Stone Cold's song?
