Random, Thoughts, X,XXIV

So I am on the interstate doing about 70. I am passing a semi as I had just got on to the interstate so I am in the left lane. About 20 seconds later a guy on a motorcycle flies past me on the left. I estimate he was doing 90. All i could think was wow that guy is in a huge hurry and wondered if he would take the next exit which would be for the hospital. No, but about 2 minutes after he passed me he wiped out. Bad. The bike was in pieces and so was he. His passenger was also in a crumpled heap. I presume both were dead. He was missing body parts. I couldn't tell if he hit another car or just lost it on whatever loose gravel is on the shoulder. Guys, I have never seen anything like that before. I prayed for them and for anyone else who saw that. I didn't see it actually happen, but it was awful. I am sick to my stomach over it.

Hey you Swedish-Korean scooter ridin pancake with stewed apples and syrup eating mfer that's doin life right. I know you stay in alot of hotels, are loyal to a certain one? You have one that you really like the bedding better than the others?

I used to choose my hotels by the bar. Now I choose by bedding and I've decided I have a favorite.

I’ve stayed at only Hilton properties this year. I prefer Doubletree, Homewood or Tru as they tend to be a bit more “noise resistant.” Top floor. I hate listening to you fine people in the hallways, the rooms next door, and heavy footing overhead.

But I’m not loyal to any one. I tend to be location focused mostly (proximity to whatever I’m doing).

I've stayed at Hampton in SC, Ohio Columbus and Lancaster, Pennsylvania and West Virginia and I like their bedding. I sleep really well there. Good breakfast and decent coffee.

(Gross)

We stayed at Hampton Inn for Kent St weekend. With Hilton, I like that I don’t have to deal with anyone - mobile check-in, digital key, mobile checkout.

IHG and Marriott may have that now as well, though.

Thats a nice one by campus. Just make sure your room doesn't face Henley...

Thumbs up on Double Tree. Most comfortable mattresses I have found.

I felt comfortable with the cleanliness of the Hampton Inn including the bedding.

I've been experimenting with numerous things from temperature to bedtime and medications to bedding trying to get better sleep. I cranked the ac down to 63 in the room and crawled under the sheet and comforter and slept like a baby err night. My watch showed -6° skin temperature which is about 4 less on average than it is at home.

I found a set I think is the same or comparable to them. I'm gone see if it helps keep me cooler.
