Oh, and we discovered tonight one of our dogs can climb the enormous evergreen tree in the backyard. Then, when started, can fall out of it. Wifey said the dog was about 10 feet up

My son-in-law’s GSP would climb an 8’ wooden fence and the crabapple tree in the yard. Crazy pup. She would jump from the tree into his arms when he called her down from the tree. When she climbed the fence, neighbors would alert him as to her whereabouts.
