I'm mainly inquiring with you about your recovery because I have tons of work lined up and need to be off my feet as little time as I can manage@tnuhcvols if you have a burn email, post it and I will send you contact info if you want to discuss. If not, we can just chat here.
I get the impression these are manufactured all alike, (sizes may vary for different body sizes i guess), but interchangeable parts otherwise.
The "custom" knee is made by Conformis and I don't think it is a robotic implant. You will most likely get a Depuy knee which is pretty good. There has been another mfg here recently that has gone through some lawsuits, I will try to find which one.I'm mainly inquiring with you about your recovery because I have tons of work lined up and need to be off my feet as little time as I can manage
I was walking at 9:30, couldn't leave until just after 3. You know zackly what I am talking about. I was on my feet for probably 4.5 of that 5.5 hours. I paid for it next day too.Ah yes, sitting (or standing) there, brain attempting to communicate with the plumbing system, urging it to Do Its Thing.
So sorry to hear ORB.I was going to put this in the Rona thread, too tired and lazy. We have our first death, had Covid when tested postmortem. They haven’t classified it as cause of death yet. We spent the whole day moving people to make a make shift Covid Ward. So far 2 staff members and 3 residents positive and multiple having to get tested.
Was it the first patient, who was sent to you ever-so-quickly from the hospital?My boss is just sick about it, understandable so, but she took every precaution she could and still the crap found a way to get in.

Yes, that’s where it started. I’m good, I’ve had little contact with the infected and I know how to wear PPE properly. One of the staff members that are getting tested is one of my cooks. She works as a RA also and found the deceased and preformed CPR. I asked if she wore a mask and gloves. Nope. Damn kids.Was it the first patient, who was sent to you ever-so-quickly from the hospital?
I’m so sorry. With a geriatric population, all you can do is your best. “Man does his best; Fate does what it will.”
Stay safe. {{{{{ hugs! }}}}}
With the spinal block, it's the guy plumbing that doesn't work as quickly as the lady plumbing. I asked for general but was basically talked into block plus light. I basically remember 7:45 or so and was wide awake at 9. The numb in the legs was gone in about that time also. Those with general were able to leave sooner after waking up but one lady next to me in recovery slept for about 4 hours after coming out of surgery.Run those faucets!! Think about waterfalls!!
(It really is weird how, after general anesthesia, things Down Yonder seem to be blissing out, not responding to urgent messages.)
Aaarrrggghhh! Although at least she tried to save the patient. But how do you not grab the equipment...?Yes, that’s where it started.
