This whole mess makes me sad. Between politics, football, the COVID, my own health....I'm feeling really depressed right now. I try not to let it show, but this stuff is really getting to me, in a bad way.

From heavens point of view you can't even really see mount Everest. It looks huge from down here but not so much from the heavens.

I don't let politics stress me out much. I just remember that whomever ends up in control, it's only because the Big Man upstairs allows it. That keeps me grounded.



Then I go rant to my wife about politics after a couple of beers and she tells me to shut up

I get it. I hated politics didn’t follow it at all. This past four years I have gotten involved now there’s talk of running me for state rep. At first I was that’s awesome but I don’t want to do it. I hate Nashville I don’t go north of ky. And I’m not the person to hold my tongue when people are stupid. Now peeps really think I’m crazy

As far as politics go, it's not about who wins. I don't care who's POTUS. It's about what it does to people. It brings out the worst in them. The hatred and the vitriol people spew at each other over politics is disgusting. It doesn't matter to me if Biden is President or Trump is President. I actually hate both political parties and subscribe to the George Washington belief that political parties do nothing but divide this country. My beef with politics is just how divisive they really are, and how good people turn ugly when politics are discussed. It makes me sad that we can't come together as a country and compromise for the betterment of all.

I agree. I see people constantly flipping on their beliefs of something depending on which party is doing it. I sincerely pray for whoever the president is, despite disagreeing with things they may do, or party. My opinions don't change depending in what some politician is doing, and shouldn't. Also ftr, I don't want to burn you over political views, just your fat mouth!

I agree with what you’re saying. I would like to add that we have more and more people that choose to primarily identify as a D or an R. Not as a Christian, Jewish, Dad, Mom, engineer, accountant, athlete, or mailman, etc. Their political beliefs are their essence. It’s who they are and they feel personally attacked if you are not of the same opinion.

The reality is Jesus, Mohammed, or Moses would not associate with either of the American political parties and would be embarrassed by the way we act.
