Not those, that's why I prefer them (Fanning) over the Phantom. That's just one of the advantages over the cheaper flip flops. I've twisted my ankles walking across a parking lot after a rain, and it does that alot here... right out of nowhere.

Those cheap bastages were my deployment shower shoes for 25+ years. Trying to keep your feet away from the fungus in a community shower setting is paramount to healthy feet. Just when you thought you was gonna make it out of the area safely - WHOOOP - right out of the flip flop and onto the bacteria laden floor.

Understand.

I decided my first summer here if I was gonna be as comfortable and cool (temp) as possible and wear flip flops, I was gonna wear some good ones. They're part of my "uniform". Socks help with the sliding too if you have on a pair that are slick and get caught in a shower.

*I know, wearing socks and flip flops is dumb/stupid/ghey.

Never seen Bay Watch. Knew about it. Liked the commercials. Never watched it.

Flash forward a million years... woke up and Bay Watch was on. Three minutes later I was hoping a comet would descend on the planet. Then, I found the remote and away it went.

Meh. You've justified the socks. Any thang to keep the blood suckers off yore lower laigs is a good thang.

I never even tried to watch it.

* I did watch the movie with Zac Efron and Dwayne Johnson because I like both of them. About all I can say is I finished it.

Same. Never watched the show. When visiting friends in San Diego a couple of years ago they said I had to watch the movie. I think the 3rd night I finally got through it, kept falling asleep.
