Apparently I've missed out on deleted epicness. What's with the mod vendetta against the zone lately? If you're gonna be handing out time-outs, how about banning people who can't handle it from the zone. We special needs peeps need a place to play too, dammit. We can't help that we're some sick weirdos.

Gonna throw this out there. I never even talked to Itch much, but the zone isn't the same without him. He was like an annoying little brother who talked out of his ass most of the time, but he belonged here. He fit into the dysfunction. It's not right that he's gone. I understand there are rules to posting on VN, but why can't this one, tiny corner of the site be a place where we can be free and act a little crazy? In all honesty, I've seen much crazier **** in the football forum.

Mods, why can't he be allowed back into the zone? Not into the rest of VN, just the zone. Put a sticky at the top of the page warning people what they are about to get into, and if they can't handle it, they need to pick other forums to reside in. It's not like he is hated here. The overwhelming majority of zone posters want him back. This place isn't like the rest of VN. It's different. It should be allowed to be different.

I really could go off on a much larger tangent on how unfair this is, much larger, but I realize that would just be futile. Can we at least make an appeal to Freak to reconsider. Putting away the sarcasm and cynicism that makes up the zone for a second, can we at least let Freak know how many of us want him back? I understand he's running a business, but part of running a business is appeasing your clients. Has Itch really been that much of a bother since his permaban to the zone? One silly gif from an old, artsy movie taken completely out of context by one poster, does that really deserve a permaban? Please. Some people are just wound a little too tight. Let Itch come home.

Depending on who's doing the reading, all of these perfectly accepted emoticons could be deemed offensive in one form or another. But they're not because they're accepted as being silly. It's all about context and personal opinion. Bring Itch home.
