The mexicans here are picketing Publix grocery stores to pay them a penny a pound more for tomatoes. wtf? Picket your employer not a retail store that sells the product you pick. Idoits!

It's called a secondary strike. They can picket the retailer in order to have them put pressure on the whoever employs the picketers. As long as they maintain that their dispute is with the labor practices and do not disparage the product, it is perfectly fine.

In actual practice, these sort of strikes can be very effective.
