No. I was interested when Magic, Bird, Pistol Pete, etc. played. After they finished, I didn't care for the game so much. I watch during Jordan's heyday and then quit. It's just me and nothing else.

I understand that. I was there for the heyday you describe and had lost interest as well. But when my hometown got a team my interest was piqued again. Thus my querstion about a team being in Knoxville.

Maybe it's because there are a lot of basketball savvy fans in Memphis from the Memphis Tigers being relatively successful for the past 50 or so years.
