December is here. 2014 is rapidly approaching. This time of year makes me really sad. I loved Christmas as a kid. As an adult, not so much. No more magic.

I absolutely hate it. I loved it, but now its stress and panic attacks. One month and its over.

Yeah, I'll be happy again come March. December-February suck ass. Christmas - New Year- Valentine's Day. I don't hate Christmas, but it makes me sad. New Year makes me feel old. Valentine's Day is a sucky holiday all around. March brings St. Patty's Day. I <3 St. Patty's Day. I always request the next day off to recover.

we never celebrated Christmas that much when i was a young kid. We were very poor. I can remember several Christmas mornings without any gifts. No biggy though. My wife came from a very different experience, she goes all out for it. My kids are all old enough that its not that big of a deal to them anymore, but having the grandkids, we still go through the motions. Christmas has become too commercialized anymore. I bet half the people in the US dont realize what the true meaning of Christmas really is.
