True. It needs to be cleaned up. When was the last time there was a top notch fight? UFC does it right way, if a fight has to be made it's made. Floyd vs Manny would have happened 2 years ago in the UFC.
Except for st. pierre. What little I've watched they won't let that guy lose. Some of the other instant title rematches seem suspicious also. Just saying. Haven't followed ufc like you and Slice, but that is what I gather from what I have seen.
GSP has fought every top contender except Hendricks, and he's next. My issue with him is he fights 1-2 times a year. The rematches are usually really close decisions. Now Chael on the other hand had no business fighting Bones. He talked his way into that fight, and I ranted for weeks over it.
What about that showboat who got knocked the **** out a month or 2 ago by the white dude? Don't remember their names, but instant rematch announced within days.
Fair point, but Silva is the GOAT so it almost had to happen. 95% of the time the right fight is made. There have been a couple times that guys have gotten screwed over though.
Edit: I did say usually close decisions.![]()
all in one account.. what an idiot.I understand and not trying to argue. Just saying what I've witnessed. I do feel it is becoming sickening what money fighters are starting to pull in whether it be boxing or top tier mma. Greedy all around. Heard something like 100 milion for floyd's fight tonight. Just seems ridiculous to me.

Oh I agree, I wouldn't have given him the shot either. But it'll make a ton and it's almost a have to do it thing with him.
MMA fighters are horribly underpaid honestly. Sure the top guys do well, the top 5%, I think Silva was the top paid guy at 5 mill a fight. But the mid tier guys get 15-20k to show 20-28 to win. So say you go 2-1 in a year, that's 76k not great money to get your face beat in.
No, I do feel that in Silva's case he get knocked the **** out, regardless he lost. Start at the bottom and work your way back to a title fight. I don't care how muach money he brings in through sponsors and ppv's. He lost. Nature of the game regardless of how he loses whether it be within 30 seconds or several rounds. It shouldn't hamper the guys who make less money and who have earned their place like you said. Just reeks of protecting the money and keeping other fighters down.
