I could see any of the top 10 to 12 teams picking up Moss if they feel they need the help. The Titans would definitely be a good choice. The Jets could also use him, and he would fit in with Rex Ryan perfectly.
I dont see any way that Moss could repair the relationship between him and Belichick
I don't think there is that big of a problem between them. Belicheck called Moss the smartest WR he has ever coached.
It has also been widely reported over the years that Moss has been well liked by his teammates on every team for which he has played
Please explain....
Are you suggesting the Pats are going to turn around and claim him?
The perennial cancer, Randy Moss, is about to be released from the Minnesota Vikings. The fourth team he has played on and the fourth team he has had trouble getting along with. This guy couldn't make it on one of the best organizations in the NFL, the New England Patriots. This constant complainer will be looking for work this week. Would you like your favorite team to pick him up?
As much as the thought of having Randy Moss is intriguing, he doesn't block, takes plays off and really is a overall slacker. That wouldn't fly on Fisher's team.
If this were true, he wouldn't be looking for his 5th NFL team right now. Not to mention Notre Dame, Florida State & Marshall.
"(Moss) he comes in, and I'm helping one of the guys and didn't look up, and all of a sudden I heard, 'What the (expletive) is this? I wouldn't feed this (expletive expletive) to my (expletive) dog!' And he's screaming it at the top of his lungs.
"Nobody said anything except for one (player) who said, 'Shut the (expletive) up, Randy,' " he said. "If (Brett) Favre would have had a ball, he would have beaned him right in the head. Favre looked at him like, 'Are you kidding me?' "
Sure, he's a headache and not the most ideal person you want in the locker room. That being said, the positives outweigh the negatives, IMO.
- Moss is consistently going to require double even triple teams at times, which will stop defenses from putting 8 in the box against CJ.
- Without Britt or a healthy Gage, the Titans are left with Nate Washington, Lavelle Hawkins, Damian Williams, and Marc Mariani at WR. Now is not the time to be stubborn and not bring in a WR. (Even if Moss is claimed before the Titans get a chance, I still think we need to make a pickup.)
- Moss is maybe the best vertical threat the NFL has ever seen. What is the one thing that VY has done consistently well since he has been in the league? Throw the deep ball. He is a very accurate QB down the field, and by adding Moss, you highten VY's game. (Collins throws a pretty good deep ball as well.)
