I don't know. I can't say that I have seen a whole lot of UGA's offense this year. Our defense has played very well but they are not invincible and can give up some big plays. If Ole Miss had a better QB today they could have had several big plays where we lost coverage.

We will have to have more that one sustained TD drive, can't settle for field goals in the red zone, and have to be able to get the running game going. Clausen has to throw the ball down the field at times when necesary.

Also, I just don't think the line blocked very well today and I am sure UGA's defense wont miss as many tackles as Ole Miss did today.

but they won't be coming down off the LSU win with a short week to boot... they'll look better on both sides of the ball

Jr, I like your optimism and you could be right but it's not like this was our first game or the tweener game where we stumbled. We have played one good half of offensive football this year.

I think are biggest concern right now is whether rick is healthy enough to play at his best. He was hurting against Ole Miss and it hurt his play.

On the plus side, looks like UT found the right cb to play opposite J allen in Wade. The D-line is dominant. Looks like the WRs found their hands. Things are starting to gel

I heard a media person make an interesting point last week...

When Johnny Majors was the head coach, everyone always blamed him for conservative play instead of the offensive coordinator - Phil Fulmer. Yet now that Phil Fulmer is the head coach, we blame the offensive coordinator?? I'd never thought about it that way. Hmmmm....

Must be Phil's dynamic personality and good looks.

You got it boss...and if Randy was gone and someone else came in, they'd say the same thing.

the only way you loose sanders is if you loose fulmer and the rest of the coaches as well. It just wont happen. Some crazy things such as a loosing season would have to happen maybe even consecutive seasons because fulmer wont fire sanders and the university will NEVER fire fulmer. im not a big fan of sanders but i wouldnt pick another coach over fulmer! so its all good

U are right 7 no way they fire Sanders without getting all of them. Better get used to them until we start losing. Do what i do when our boring offense hits the field take a little nap, trust me it works

Well, we've got a pretty representative sample here, so I guess it's time to put an ad on Monster.com for an offensive coordinator.

I agree U_T. These fire whoever threads are counter productive and don't solve any problems involving our football team and season!! If anybody has any positive suggestions I'm sure they would be welcome but denigrating players or coaches doesn't fit that scenario!!

I made the same point last week and got drilled for it! Phil is the common denominator!
