By no means am I saying that I have heard this or are trying to start this rumor, but I really hope Butch gives Shannon a call. The man is an awesome defensive coordinator and recruiter with very strong ties to FL and other southern states. Would make a HUGE splash.

this is one that i will say the samething as HC job. it won't happen because it makes sense. hart is an idiot he make no sense.

Cinci played extremely sound defense under Jones and John Jancek. If he wants to bring him to UT, I'm fine with it.

Their pass defense was really bad..I am a former bearcat student and watch them regularily..their stats aren't real representative of that..however given better recruits at UT i think DC can do a better job !!

They were 12th in the nation in scoring defense this year only allowing 17.1 ppg and in 2011 only allowed 18.3 ppg.

I know people will say "it's cause they play in the big east", but they use big east talent as well, so it's an even playing field.

I'd love to see Chizik.

With CBJ, this DC hire is absolutely huge and we absolutely cannot afford to have a miss here. We have $3m to go to assistants at least $1m needs to go to a DC that deserves $1m (not $800k to pay $800k like Sal got)

Bring back Chief, give me Chizik or Zook. This one has to be huge.
