Do you really want Shannon on your staff knowing Miami *could* get buried by the NCAA at any time?? You gotta remember, everything that happened was on Shannon's watch too.

Yep I sure do. Shannon may have been the HC at the time, but I think he comes out of the investigation squeaky clean. Not to mention that while he was DC there, his defense finished in the top 10 five of the six years he held the job.

Shannon is without a doubt the type DC that we need to help turn our defense around over the next couple of years.

To clean up its image, North Carolina should hire Randy Shannon - NCAA Football - CBSSports.com News, Scores, Stats, Schedule and BCS Rankings

I bet he brings his current DC with him..He said clearly in the press coonference were running a 4-3 defense. He also talked about his defense being Top 25, and the importance of scoring defense

He might, but Shannon also runs the 4-3 or he did before going to TCU.
