Just say no. Hart is trying to bring us the best DC available - period. RS has a track record as a great DC and as a so - so head coach. Cutcliff good OC - bad HC.

Why is this so hard to understand.

None of the insiders knew that Wilcox and Sirmon were leaving either.

Makes you wonder...

At this point I would offer that the reason there has been no announcement is that Hart, Dooley, and Shannon are lining up the assistants Shannon wants. Getting the salaries, buyouts, benefits, etc takes a little time. Could be that one or more on the current staff might not be retained as well. I would say Hart will have his i's dotted and t's crossed before anything is announced. He knows the business. The impact on Shannon if Dooley leaves will be thoroughly addressed in the contracts. He might even be the "coach in waiting."

He is very close with Randy and is still very connected to the UM program. To confirm what I was told I made a few calls and was told by two individuals that Dooley has offered Shannon the job and the ball is in Shannon's court to make a decision.

It is up to Shannon gents.

These other two individuals are very connected to high school football in S. Florida...ie Nuke 2009.

This guy is usually spot on.

Shannon would be a good pickup. Steeles defense looked good the first part of the year, then they kinda let down a little. The fumble recovery last night was HUGE!!. Clemson lsot its swagger at that point. Then it was like Tennessee football after that. The snowball just kept getting bigger as it went downhill. If Randy does come on, he has to worry only about the defense. This should be a good match.
