Rank our recruits

Leonard Scott was a track guy playing football. Tyler Maples comes from the most tradition rich high school in Tennessee. There is no comparison on the football field.

I don't know about that. Dobyns-Bennett is a top 20 all-time winningest program. I'd say there is competition.

I heard they got FieldTurf. Is this true? I know MBA in Nashville did.

I haven't heard, but I don't think that would be a good idea. Part of one endzone is used as a section of the outfield for baseball season. Not to mention that occasionally some jerk from Science Hill will wonder over and spray some profanity on the field before the annual Hilltopper beatdown.

i think cory hall will be a big contributor in the DL rotation by the time he is a junior, and savion frazier may well be another star LB at UT. The kid started out terribly underrated and was really turning the heads of scouts by as recruiting went along, I just have a feeling he will be a special player.

This is based on his requirement of ranking them according to their career at UT. Of course there is so much that will happen in the next 4-5 years that there is no telling but what the heck its fun. Obviously, this is assuming no injuries or anything like that. 1-20 are players I am picking to definately start and excel in that role at some point in their career. The remaining players I think are on a similar level in terms of them being less likely to become or excel as a starter. But, anything can happen so we'll see.

Best careers:

1. Eric Berry
2. Ben Martin
3. Gerald Jones
4. Donald Langley
5. Nevin Mckenzie
6. Chris Donald
7. Brent Vinson
8. Kenny O'Neal
9. Lennon Creer
10. Rolando Melancon
11. Chris Walker
12. BJ Coleman
13. Darris Sawtelle
14. Deangelo Willingham
15. Art Evans
16. Deshaun Barnes
16. Rae Sykes
17. Ahmad Paige
18. Kevin Cooper
19. Cory Hall
20. William Brimfield
21-32. The remaining players I'm putting on the same level.

Im from the Franklin Tn area and I think Todd Campbell could be the most underated player we booked. Todd has so much talent the only problem was that he had a Quarterback who couldnt get the ball to him much.

I agree. I went to Franklin High although SEVERAL years ago and had an opportunity to see and talk to Todd. Very good player and reminds me of Meachem in his ability to break tackles after the catch.

As much as I want all 32 players to excel, I don't see the love for Art Evans. Enlighten me so I can jump on board.

Usually there is a 5 Star bust on every recruiting class it seems like so...

I think a good question is, which 5 Star Recruit is most likely gonna be a bust?

I hope none of them are...but it happens to often.

With that said, I think Kenny O'Neal will have the biggest Impact on the 2007 season out of this class.

Here are the recruits listed in rivals top 100:

3. Eric Berry, CB
18. Chris Donald, LB
20. Ben Martin, DE

Thats 3 players in rivals top 20. Thats never happened at UT that I remember. All 3 of those guys are immediate impact players, especially Berry & Martin because of need.
