Who you got?
1. Florida
2. SC
3. Georgia
4. Tenn
5. Kentucky
6. Vandy
It's really up in the air IMO...UF loses several good players but they are still the cream of the crop in the East and return a lot of good talent. Given Urban returns next year I put them at no.1. Brantley has more experience than the future QBs at UGA and UT.
If SC didn't have such a bad history of crumbling down the stretch it would be logical to have them at no.1. They return an experienced Garcia, all runningbacks, essentially all the receivers, Saunders (given he comes back) and most of the defense. They lose only 9 seniors and the good defense this past year was made up primarily of freshmen/sophomores and several juniors.
Georgia returns a lot of good players especially on offense and they've played really well at the end of the year. There are a couple things I see that keep behind SC for the no.2 spot. They'll start an inexperienced freshman QB, there are no guarentees with the defense that was terrible this year, and the game against SC at SC will probably be the tiebreaker between the 2. I think SC will have the advantage in that game mainly because of experience and being at home.
UT loses some valuable players this year and will start a new inexperienced QB next year. Believe it or not, I think they will have a drop in production at QB next year considering how well Crompton played down the stretch so I put them at 4th.
Its really tough to say how the SEC will shake out next year but this is my best unbiased opinion. I wouldn't be surprised if any of the top 4 took the East next year.
