Not completely sold on Arkansas and their defense. Dangerous team but inconsistant. And I think LSU might not be that good either but have to rank them there until they prove me right. USC looks better than they usually do. Ole Miss has a good defense but a worse offense than UT, thier O-line is awful. Auburn is ok but they were lucky to have zero turnovers against UT, otherwise they are mediocre. UK is a scrappy team. UGA is lucky to be where they are and I have no idea how they beat USC and Arky. Miss St has an improved offense and they have played some pretty tough competition so far, they might be better than we think. Ole Miss watch out. Vandy is back to reality.

Alabama is obviously #1, UF is #2 but I still think they better watch out for USC before they head to Atlanta and lose to Alabama.

If Crompton really has found his "game" then I would put the Vols 4th right behind Arkansas and ahead of LSU. We will find out over the next 2 weeks. Florida is looking more and more exposed. Tebow sacked 6 times in one game. LSU is overrated.

Yeah I can agree with that, and can definitely see how you could justify those rankings. UK and Arkansas were the toughest for me to rank. I think LSU was lucky UF didn't have Tebow at full speed. I agree that UT is probably better than Auburn, even though they did beat us. And Ole Miss is talented but not that good. But I think they would prob beat UGA though, it would be close.

I think basically the SEC has two teams which are well above the rest and two which are well below the rest. Everybody else is in a big clump and could beat each other on any given Saturday depending on the way the ball bounces.

1. Florida
2. Alabama

3. LSU
4-9. Arkansas, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Auburn, Tennessee, Georgia
10. Kentucky

11. Mississippi State
12. Vanderbilt

I think we could be that good as well, possibly 3rd if everything is clicking and Crompton is on his game. We have the most potential of any team outside of UF, and Bama imo. So much of it just depends on Crompton. Every other team has a glaring weakness. Arky has bad defense and has to get turnovers to play with the good teams. LSU o-line is bad and they can't run the ball at all. Ole Miss is the same way except worse, and Snead isn't playing well on top of that. Same goes for USC as far as running goes. And Auburn defense is not good, offense is risky in turning the ball over. UT has everything you want. If Crompton is on, and we have Vlad and Mcclendon at full health we are a pretty good team imo.
