Ranking the sec Athletic Directors

I thought maybe the OP would link to a story, have his own rankings, or even just a list of who they are.

1. Jeremy Foley

Not sure the rest of the list matters, at least now that Mike Hamilton is gone.

This. Although I would have to put Hart way down the list. There is evidence of decisions and methods he has employed that indicates bottom feeder status IMO.

David Williams has assumed the AD role, as it has been defined by Vandy.

Well Alabama and Gators have to be at the top. We are at the bottom. Haven't given much thought to the rest of them.

Mal Moore hired one guy in one sport. Jeremy Foley hired a national championship coach in football, another national championship coach in basketball, and then convinced that basketball coach to renege on an NBA team after signing a contract. His teams win the overall SEC all-sports trophy every year, both men and women. There's no comparison.

I doubt the Bammers would trade. In a big part of this region there is only one sport that matters.

Moore's been there forever and has made one good hire. (And he only got that to make that hire because he failed to hire Rich Rodriguez beforehand.) Foley's had a sustained level of success in all of his sports across the board. Let's say you're a Bammer and Nick Saban drops dead tomorrow of a heart attack. Would you rather have Mal Moore or Jeremy Foley in charge of your football program?

Mal only deals with football. His assistant AD handles everything else. Mal is AD in title only.
