In D1's RPI, the SEC ranks are

1. South Carolina
2. Kentucky
3. LSU
5. Arkansas
7. Vanderbilt
9., Florida
19. Georgia
20. Alabama
25. Tennessee
31. Texas A&M
37, Auburn
38. Mississippi State
40. Missouri
63. Mississippi

Because of the Tennessee Tech loss- the Vols have lost 2 spots in RPI.
Tennessee is
0-1 against 51-100 (Arizona #56 | 22-15)
13-1 against 101-200 (Grand Canyon #107 | 23-17)
5-1 against 200+ (Tenn. Tech #269 | 13-25)

Those 3 games are the boat anchor on Tennessee's RPI and those teams will not significantly improve those rankings. GCU is 2nd in WAC. Arizona is 8th in PAC12 . TTU tied for last in OVC.
TTU did take 2 or 3 vs 4th place UTM over weekend though

How the D1 Top-25 fared last week. This is last week's rankings

1. LSU 3-1 (Loss to ULL but did get their first SEC sweep in Oxford)
2. Wake 3-1
3. Florida 1-3 (beat FAMU, swept at SC)
4. Vanderbilt 0-4 (Indiana State and Tenn)
5. Arkansas 1-3 (beat Central Ark, swept at UGA)
6. South Carolina 4-0
7. East Carolina 1-3 (Beat Charltte, 1-21 at Wichita)
8. Virginia 1-3 (beat VCU, swept by ND)
9. Stanford 2-2 (Sac State loss 2-1 v UW)
10.Coastal Carolina 3-1
11. Campbell 4-0
12. Louisville 0-4 (swept by IU and Duke all on road)
13. Kentucky 2-2 (Xavier win, 1-2 aTm)
14. Texas 1-3 (Abilene Christian W, swept at home by OU)
15. UConn 3-2 (L to Northeastern, W @ BC, 2-1 v Georgetown)
16. Texas Tech 4-1
17. Miami 3-2 (lost a midweek to FAU)
18. UNC 1-3. (swept by BC at home)
19. Arizona State 2-2 (shelled by rival Arizona in 1 game, 2-1 vs Oregon State)
20. Boston College 3-1 (midweek loss to UConn swept UNC)
21. Oregon State 2-2
22. UCLA 1-3 (Loss to UCI and 2 at USC)
23. Oregon 2-2 (loss at Portland and 2 wins at Cal)
24. Southern Miss 1-3 (loss at LaTech and 2 at CCU)
25. UTSA 2-2 (Loss to TxState and 2 wins at FIU)

Texas - I've said it before, has not business being ranked. Their quality OOC win is Indiana series 2-1
Indiana and Indiana State are both in unreal position to possibly host
Louisville is now 8-10 in ACC as they have lost 5 of last 6 after basically upset sweep over BC. They are badly overranked
Vanderbilt's saving grace will be EVERYONE lost.

the obvious top-3 will be
#1 LSU
#2 Wake Forest
#3 South Carolina

After this, the rankings will be a crap shoot.

And get this, Campbell is fighting for a national seed at this point.

They will find a way to get us matched up with Campbell. Mark my words.
Geographically, there are lots of options as there are several teams from UVA down through the Carolinas that could host. If I had my pick I’d take east Carolina. Don’t really want any part of the Camels again, especially not in their house.

Kentucky being that high is great. Tennessee has a chance to really bump our RPI by taking 2 or 3 from them.

Vanderbilt went 0-4 on the week and dropped one spot from 4th to 5th, while TN barely moved into the rankings after that massive sweep. i hope they continue to let that fire them up.
If all the teams around Vanderbilt hadn’t had a crappy week also they would have dropped at least 3 spots. Florida and Arkansas also got swept. Just an odd week for the teams at the top.

Looked at NCAA stats leaders this morning for players and team. Only looked at top 25
Strikeouts Burns 7th Dollander 10th
Appearances Kirby 12th
Strikeouts per 9 Burns 3rd Dollander 18th
Team ERA 3rd
Hits allowed per 9 6th
HR’s 8th
HR’s per game 7th
Shutouts 1st
Slugging % 21st
Strikeouts to walk ratio 2nd
WHIP 2nd
Walks allowed per 9 3rd

Not as bad as many would think.

…and against a murder’s row schedule. Most of those should trend up as we move down the stretch.

There's still to much knee-jerk love for Miami who now has 15 losses.
but hey! Wichita State has 15 losses against a far weaker schedule and they're ahead of Tennessee in CB

and God bless PG.
They have UT way too high but it's more defensible than half of CB's poll

I'm serious about the CB thing.
Every other poll has Coastal Carolina in top-7.
Not CB! 28th and up a spot from 29 behind Central Michigan, Wichita, Indiana.

And does a Sun Devil have photos of the CB staff in compromising position?
