Yea, that sure makes a lot of sense. NOT !

Vandy’s body of work deserves to be ranked ahead of us right now. We really have no right to complain. But, also, who is this 2nd team that we swept that is a dozen spots ahead of us?

Interesting how the polls are so different with respect to Campbell and UConn. Just keep winning guys.

Entered in the NCBWA last night and my guess was correct as we went up to #16.

#16 is the average ranking with low of 21 with BaseballAmerica's "I Love the ACC Poll and #6 in Perfect Game.

If the Vols could sweep UGA this weekend, and continue the recent roll, then that would solidly put Vols in the regional hosting range.

cross posting - but holy smokes, our RPI went up six slots after that win tonight. All the way up to 16. What's that in our sights... A regional host?? Say. Less.

I dare say if we win this series against a top 25 RPI club @ GA and then take the series next week against a top 5 RPI club in KY - our sights will be on a top 8 national seed heading into Hoover.

And we push for the 16-seed and send the overrated Tigers home in the Supers.

I went from thinking making the tournament at all was a stretch to now believing we can, and probably will host a regional.

I wonder if we ran the table the rest of the regular season if we’d sneak in at #8. I’m not going to entertain Hoover because that tournament is impossible to predict.

Wake and BC play a huge series in Winston-Salem

Only 3 teams (Boston College, Indiana State and Oregon) are on the road.

Not sure there will be a huge RPI shake up this weekend.

The ACC gives all their schools a weekend off but normally they schedule 2-3 games against OOC teams.

I guess UVA is having finals and just giving the guys a weekend off.
