Whatever gets Billy AIDS first, that he can deliver to NewToVolCountry, and let the board be at peace.

I guess I like old school rap more than country so I guess I'll have to vote for rap. It's close though.

I chose country but I would take rap from 1983-1993.

Rap, although if it was strictly older country music we're talking about (Cash, Hank Williams, etc.) then I'd side with country. New country music is absolute trash, sad to say.

Hip hop music is still evolving (See: West, Kanye, et al.)
Country music is not evolving, and has changed essentially none in, what, 30 years?

There have been some innovative bluegrass acts over the last several years, but I can't lump that together with country (they're distinguishable genres...and one has to go no further than a radio station for proof of that) and so rap (hip hop) gets my vote.

rap now sucks. so ill go with country, but back in the days of NWA, erik b and rakim, ghetto boys, public enemy, rap all the way. this stuff now isnt rap, i dont know what youd call it.

Same could be said for country.

Conway isn't walking through that door, neither is Merle or Johnny.

Good country died a long, long tome ago, now we get Rascal Flats.

i agree with bearcat. the fact that most rap make me want to push baby duck heads under the water, i guess i'll have to go neither.

i have always thought billyc and 182 could be the same poster myself. as much as 182 trolls, he has to have an outlet that he can really go for it and still keep what small amount of cred he has.
