i have always thought billyc and 182 could be the same poster myself. as much as 182 trolls, he has to have an outlet that he can really go for it and still keep what small amount of cred he has.

Interesting. I can kinda see that.

Same could be said for country.

Conway isn't walking through that door, neither is Merle or Johnny.

Good country died a long, long tome ago, now we get Rascal Flats.

Jamey Johnson, Chris Young, Randy Houser, Dierks Bentley and Jake Owen all take exception to the Rascal Flatts comment. There are a lot of cheese ball acts in both country and rap, including a few songs from the guys I just listed but they also bring a little hope to the country side of things.

country, if only for the incredibly hot female singers

female rappers are some ugly bizznitches

Neither one is very good anymore. Classic country stuff was great, but now everything is just poppy southern rock. Also, current country music rips off old stuff more than hip hop.
Rap just isn't much rap anymore. It's pop/hip hop.
Have you heard the song "Look At Me Now" where Busta Rhymes is followed by Lil' Wayne? It's comical how much better the old guy is.

The vast majority of "good" rap was in the books before the year 2000. Same for country, and most other things as well. Very few things are getting better it appears. Quite sad.
