Rashida Tlaib’s THOBE, and Ilhan Omar’s HIJAB, are making congressional history

Does that apply to the right learning from their mistake? Have they owned the mistake they made in nominating Trump? Or are they doubling down?
The goal of both parties is to win the Presidency. It's about power, Luther. Both parties want it. So, in that regard, Trump wasn't a mistake. He won. He may be a horrible person, but he's still President. So the Republicans won. That means the left made the mistake of running a bad candidate. And they may be on the verge of doing it again. Politics is not about idealism in our country. It's about power and control.

He'll get re-elected if we are lucky you dolt. He will go down as one of the great ones.

If you didn't hate this country so much you would realize that.

Donate more of YOUR money to the .gov. Put YOUR money where YOUR mouth is.

That's ridiculous.
We have no idea if Bernie would have beaten Trump. Do you think he would have?
What we do know with 100% certainty is that had the repubs. not nominated Trump, Trump would not be president.
That is an unavoidable and undeniable fact.
They are about to double down on their stupidity, because as you say.......they refuse to learn from their mistakes.
No, I don't think Bernie would have won, but it was a forgone conclusion Hillary was going to be the nom. That was the deal. Now, if Biden had run in 2016, I think it fairly likely he wins. He wasn't as universally despised as Hillary. But because it was Hillary's turn, he stayed out of it. And now Trump is an incumbent with a good economy, so who knows what happens.

I know with 100% certainty that Trump won and is the President. For the Republicans, how was that a mistake? The point of party primaries is to pick someone who can win. They did that, the Dems didn't. It doesn't matter Trump's a pompous ass hat, he's still sitting in the Oval Office. The truth can be a bitter pill.

And to that regard, the Dems failed in 2016. That is a truth. They made mistakes and false assumptions. Many of them. And they're currently doing it again. At least IMO. But we'll see in 2020.

That takes us straight back to square one. Trump is on the republicans. They nominated him and that will always stand out as the most important thing. That nomination was a mistake. He won the election, and that was also a mistake. Eventually, most will own up to that fact. You can call the Trump election a republican win, but it will inevitably be viewed as a colossal loss.
It is about power, and Trump will continue to harm the republican party. By that metric, it's a win for the dems.

I have no idea how you make it through everyday life given your absolute lack of reason.

LOL....
Winning a battle at all costs is not always the best way to win a war.
Winning a game at all costs is not always the best way to approach a season or build a program.

Ilhan Omar Accused Of Having Affair With Married Man, Funneled Campaign Money To Him, Report Says

Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) was accused of having an affair with a married man, whom she allegedly funneled large sums of money to through her campaign, in divorce documents filed this week.

"Dr. Beth Jordan Mynett says her cheating spouse, Tim Mynett, told her in April that he was having an affair with the Somali-born US representative and that he even made a 'shocking declaration of love' for the Minnesota congresswoman before he ditched her, alleges the filing, submitted in DC Superior Court on Tuesday," The New York Post reported.

Court documents reviewed by the Post said that Tim Mynett, 38, and Jordan Mynett, 55, "physically separated on or about April 7, 2019, when Defendant told Plaintiff that he was romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar."

The Post added: "The 37-year-old congresswoman and mom of three paid Tim Mynett and his E. Street Group approximately $230,000 through her campaign since 2018 for fundraising consulting, digital communications, Internet advertising and travel expenses."

Investigative reporters Jordan Schachtel and Luke Rosiak both weighed in on the financial disclosures that were made in the report.

Schachtel sarcastically tweeted: "Oh okay. No corruption there."

Rosiak tweeted: "Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-CA) is being criminally prosecuted and facing prison for using campaign funds to fund extramarital affairs. What will the Minnesota U.S. Attorney do?"

Investigative reporter David Steinberg, who has extensively reported on the marriage fraud allegations against Omar, noted that Omar allegedly entering the couple's home while the wife was away was a damning indictment on her moral judgment.

"I've avoided @IlhanMN's affair. The only newsworthy element was the large payments," Steinberg tweeted. "But ... Omar *entered the wife's home while she was away*. WOW. Voters deserve to know that."

"That is an objectively disturbing claim about @IlhanMN's moral judgment," Steinberg continued. "It has nothing to do with complicated adult relationships. Entering the home, even if invited by Mynett, is troubling. Still think she can't be the multiple felon all the evidence shows her to be?"

"The bust-up comes just as critics are demanding answers as to whether she married her own brother in a successful bid to get him into the United States," The Daily Mail reported. "Omar has now dumped her current husband Ahmed Hirsi - who she first married in a religious ceremony in 2002 and divorced in 2008 - and moved into a penthouse apartment in one of Minneapolis's trendiest neighborhoods, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively."
