Alright, for my main league, here are the principals...

QB - Philip Rivers
RB - Trent Richardson
RB - Shonn Greene
WR - Calvin Johnson
WR - Miles Austin
TE - Rob Gronkowski
D/ST - 49ers

Flex candidates/bench - Ryan Fitzpatrick, Evan Royster, Kenny Britt, Sidney Rice, Greg Little, Jared Cook and I left a spot for waivers open.

If you couldn't tell I got jammed with way too much value at receiver and tight-end, RB's are a mess but they look like a pack of vultures went through them every time I came up for a pick. Megatron and Gronk were available early, I had to go aggressive picking Rivers and Richardson. What I did notice when the benches started getting filled out was a lack of decent receiving options on other teams, and I figure at least one of the extras I picked up will break out in a couple weeks time, particularly Britt or Rice.

I actually like Little as a receiver, Browns players are just not exciting. Thing is, the two guys you put a ton of stock in can straight up win weeks pretty easily.

Rivers worries me because I don't know if he will get a ton of protection this season.

Rivers and Richards are both high risk/high reward; Rivers finished like crap last year bat has been a rock in fantasy, and Trent Richardson may be the only offensive weapon the Browns have so he'll get a lot of touches but also a lot of attention from defenses.

When I came up for QB though, Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Stafford, Newton, both Mannings, Vick, Romo and Ryan were all gone.

Good lord. McNeil being gone may just mean Rivers being less comfortable back there. He can sling it, though.

Richardson/Little are the two Browns guys to have.

I don't like Shonn Greene, but at some point having three solid linemen in front of him has to... do something?

It was a late pick. Running backs were flying off the board like it was going out of style. I think I'll have adequate trade bait.

Btw, this was my first in person offline draft. Good times.

I've always wanted to do a actual live draft. That sounds awesome.

my draft for the past two years has been a live draft. you get free food and free beer at most places too. getting all the people to meet up can be a b!@#$ though.

i am thinking about picking up Harris (slot wr for cowboys). with all the injury concerns for wr and te i think he would be a good pick up. thoughts?

My brother is doing his first FF, he had a surprisingly solid draft given that it was a 14 person league:

QB: Eli Manning
RB: Marshawn Lynch
RB: Steven Jackson
WR: Miles Austin
WR: Miles Austin
TE: Fred Davis
Flex: Robert Meachem
D/ST: Texans
K: Dan Bailey

Bench:
Josh Freeman
Sidney Rice
Seahawks D/ST
Brandon Jacobs
Tim Hightower

I told him to dump Rice, keep an eye on where Hightower gets picked up but overall it looks pretty well-rounded

I like those running backs a lot. Meachem at the flex is solid. Two really really good defenses.

I assume Austin is only there once, meaning a new WR or a new Flex. But I like that team.
