Couldn't agree more. And it's not like she's that attractive. She has no clue and as much as Ray told her not to involve the Cops she did with her boyfriend. Ray knows Cookie is bad news and for once his wife needs to listen to him.

Showtime is quietly putting together some solid competition for HBO. Ray Donovan and Shameless particularly are up to par with anything HBO puts out these days(though perhaps not as great as GoT). Penny Dreadful and Homeland, while not as consistent as a typical top notch HBO original, are certainly better than 99% of what's on TV.

I haven't even started The Affair or Masters of Sex yet, both of which are extremely well regarded among the critics and aggregate review sites that I trust.

I think the Affair is overrated. It's real and a great production, just not that entertaining.

Agree. We originally started watching Ray Donovan because we were big Homeland fans and were looking for another show on showtime to watch. Now, we've dropped Homeland and only watch Ray Donovan and Billions.

Jon Voight is really good on this show.

The writing is top notch. You just never know what will happen in this show, completely unpredictable, yet everything seems to work out like clockwork in the end. It's difficult to accomplish that I would think.
