I can't think of a whole corp who is better than Bama. I think McClain is the 2nd best LB in the nation besides Spikes, and Hightower is gonna be a beast. They have very good depth there as well...

Who do you think has the best LBs, I can't really think of everybody...

I will take a Hightower any day of the week. Plus we just signed a pretty good corp of LBs in 2009.

BTW Stone isnt a disgard on our part if he would commit today we would take him. The fact he is waiting till after the season probably means a spot for him will be gone if he wanted it then.

Eddie Lacy just got word today from the Clearinghouse that he was eligible this season. Hopefully Walls and Edwards will hear something soon.

Most UT fans I talked with wanted Oku because they thought he could get in school. Very few people thought that Lacy would get in school.

If Scout's numbers on Lacy were correct (2.0 core GPA and 18 ACT), then he should not have qualified. I looked at the sliding scale and his ACT score requires a GPA of at least 2.375 to qualify.

why does this thread get continually bumped for a player that will flunk out within 1 1/2 yrs? And it's a Bama player at that?

Yes because all Bama players and fans are uneducated and can't handle school. Didn't you know.

BTW what happen with Walls I thought he had good scores coming in.

From everything we know about Walls, he should be in school. It seems like he's being kinda screwed in all this.

If not, I guess we'll have Gerald Williams 2.0
