So....anybody know why?
Seems like he missed home and school was not his thing. Hate to see anyone pass up an opportunity on free education.

Hopefully being around his family will get him motivated to get back into school somewhere.
Just because he decided football wasn't for him doesn't mean he will never make anything of himself and its pretty sad for you to judge people based off of absolutely nothing.
“He kept telling me that college wasn’t for him, which in my mind is a bunch of crap,” Ryals said. “I’m not happy with it but he’s a young man and he has to make his own decisions.”
He didn't say football...he said college.
Not passing judgement but passing on a full ride would not be my advice.
Be that as it may, still not right to say he won't make something of himself and will be committing crimes soon.
