I don't know what affect it had, but it might have been better to wait until after the OM game. The guys that were "stepping up" might have slacked off----and i don't want to hear about 18-20 year olds being tired. I could play all day at that age. Chemistry fouled by the move?

The announcement is what I am referring to. I know the 2 did not play.

The current group is showing great team unity and chemistry....not sure which guys currently sitting have the abiblity to kill that effect.

They are going to have to work their way back onto the court. I don't expect to see Goins at all next game, and very little of Cam.

They may be back on the team, but not on the court (didn't say IN court, but ON court). If CBP plays any of these guys more than the ones playing hard now, big mistake. The depth is nice, but you have to earn the playing time..on and off the court. Honest opinion, though, I think the chemistry stays strong without TS. Hate to say that, but that's the way it looks.

9 vs 2- most teams I've been on, the positive energy on the 9 will definately outweigh the 2. They will be forced to buy into the 9's new chemistry or risked being isolated by their team. They'll be on board, to earn their respect back.

At first, I wasn't sure I wanted any of these guys back, but after seeing how tough it can be to eke out a victory over a determined conference rival (even at home) today, I think we're going to need the additional depth for the SEC run.

Are you serious? I'm sure the team had inside info on about how many games the 2 were going to have to sit out. They didn't just find out when the rest of us did. The announcement today had nothing to do with the way they played today.

Have enjoyed watching the new passion and energy minus the street thug, every man for himself, path to the NBA mentality. It's a crying shame that the likes of Skylar Mcbee, Hall, Woolrige and even Pearl are going to lose minutes to this trash that is being reinstated.

"Trash"? I think you are a little out of bounds here. I don't see all of these guys as "trash" because they put themselves in a bad situation. I wouldn't characterisze Cam in that way and I think he'll have a pretty good attitude about things.

I'm glad you found the innocent one. This sell your morality, win at any cost mentality is amazing. Most companies have integrity clauses built into there employment requirements. Why should it be any different in this situation. They are sending a bad message to athletes and students alike by letting them come back. At least wait until after their trial and get all the facts. By the way, would you let your kids hang out with these guys?

The current players are happy that they are back.

I'm sure you know more about the situation than Pearl. How bout letting him coach and you sit back and watch.

The returning players must earn the right to be a part of this team again, in my opinion.

I agree. Nothing more than token spot minutes to give the others a breather (ala Stephen Pearl's role). And if they perform as well as Pearl has been and others, then they can earn more minutes....not to mention keeping their nose clean

Pearl's minutes would be infinitely more tolerable if he were able to hit from the charity stripe.

Maybe after they are sentenced they can play while they are on work release. Should be great for recruiting, Make some good contacts in the lockup for future players. Dude, I sense that you and others like you would take T. Smith back in a heartbeat. Take us right back to the USC game, Selfish "look at me" basketball. So proud to be a vol since these guys have left the team. Such a pleasure to watch the passion and work ethic. Don't want to go back to where we were.

I'm sure Cam is going to spend time "in the lockup" as you call it for speeding and Goins will have work detail for sitting in the backseat of a car. They are both actively back on the team today. You said if any are brought back then you will no longer support the team. I hope that's true. The football forum would be better suited for you.
