Re-instatement = Loss?

I'm sure Cam is going to spend time "in the lockup" as you call it for speeding and Goins will have work detail for sitting in the backseat of a car. They are both actively back on the team today. You said if any are brought back then you will no longer support the team. I hope that's true. The football forum would be better suited for you.

'Cam" You must really be close to the program to to be so cozy with the nick names. Been supporting and attending basketball and football events at ut for 25 years now and will feel free to voice my views here or elsewhere. Nothing wrong with giving my financial support to the programs but wanting ethical standards at the same time Lets let the law sort it out before anyone returns. Also never stated I would withdraw my support. I will continue to support those who are good kids just not those who bring shame to the university and damage recruiting so badly. Maybe if you left the forum we or withdrew your support we could raise the standards a bit.

I guess we should bring back Tyler then until his hearing on the 29th. Maybe we should let the law sort it all out as you state before we bash all the kids for the incident. Maybe we should let the law sort it out on the 29th and all the information of the incident is brought public before we crucify them all. Maybe we should keep an open mind that Pearl does have all the information and trust in him that he will punish the players involved fairly. The program could use support right now instead of a negative attitude towards a couple of kids that you do not have all the information of went on.

What we don't need is the negative attention nationally. Right now the press is positive bc they are winning without them. If we were to continue to win or go deep into march with these guys on the team what topic do you think will dominate the tv coverage of highly noted games? "Players with drug and firearms convictions" Can't always just live in the moment. Need to think about recruiting in the future.

The legal system does not = the NCAA rulebook.

I support Pearl's decision to bring these kids back-he has clearly shown he's willing to dismiss players without hesitation whenever the situation warrants it.

Cam and Goins will not be convicted of drugs or firearms. So let's just keep throwing them under the bus for something they haven't done. They have served a 4 game suspension for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. If you haven't paid attention to the news lately the firearms were Tyler's and he has been dismissed. The weed is BW and he will serve a 10 game suspension. No matter what game we play this year, TS dismissal will be discussed. The suspensions will be discussed. BW losing 200 pounds will be discussed. CPHS winning 1000 games will be discussed. Get use to it and quit whinning. The suspensions has been given out, so support your coach and the players when they come back and the rest of the team and move on.

Oh forgive me you are correct. That strong odor from the car must have been the exaust . Even if it wasn't I know it was only TS and BW that were sucking weed and not the other 2 . I guess the reason TS average went down to 11 ppg was from his glaucoma which was the reason for the weed in the first place. You cannot paint a rosey picture on this but you are right about one thing. If 2 get to come back you might as well bring them all back. Im sure Calipari would have gotten it covered up in the fist place if he were here but I was hoping CBP has higher standards than that scum bag . And hey, thats not being negative its all about lifting up the good kids and SWEEPING OUT THE TRASH!!! Happens every day in the real world. Get a clue and go vols!
