Hello Vols Fans,

First post. Current UT Student here.

I read this thing all the time but am scared to post anything because of fear of a duplicate thread. I must say that I enjoy the trolls getting ripped constantly (Volman38). I love how he runs away from topics that he created every time someone calls him out.

just dont be like 38 and you wont get ripped

my general rule of thumb about posting new stuff on here is that if i know it, then everyone else probably already knows it too

Semi-off topic, but when the mods delete threads, does it lower our number of posts as well? Just wondering because I just commented on a thread that was just deleted, but I had not checked what my post count was. If they do, that's pretty mess up! I am trying to build my internet creds!

Nope.

Good topic. I don't post much because I hate to hear everyone bash something I may say or not say.

I post whatever I want to and I don't give a flip if someone doesn't like it, or makes fun of it, or disagrees, or WHATEVER. This is an internet message board for crying out loud.

And she wonders why no one likes her. :p

The correct answer is "yes."

Actually, the correct answer is "it depends".

If the post is actually removed it does lower your post count. However if the post is just moved to where it cannot be seen, then it would still be included in your post count.

This is what I had noticed. Merged discussions or moved discussions had never decreased my post counts, and I haven't seen a great many threads get entirely deleted unless it's just way out of control.

What is everyone's obsession with the post count? Is this what everyone basis your credibility on?

Ah, yes. The place where threads go to die. How I picture OWB and GA poring over those threads laughing hysterically...
