You are right though, AU could win by 20...or 30...or even 40!

And they will still be playing for 3rd place this year no matter how much they win by.

Has to be good for Auburn knowing you have finally had your best team in decades, possibly ever, and you wont even get a share of the National Title.

Tell me, how does that actually feel like?

We'll save them the trouble of going through that when we win saturday night.

It's great to see two tigers fighting in Vol land (or should that we a tiger and a plainsman or a tiger and a war eagle). Who would have thought I would be siding with an LSU fan.

What's funny is that I should be pulling for AU. I want to go to the capital one. But I'm not gonna pull for classless people.

Hey I like the LSU fans. They know how to throw a hell of a party, and they were real nice to me when they came to Knoxville. And they hate Florida about as much as we do.

Then you shouldn't be an LSU fan.

Of course, then again, how "classy" is football?

I mean, c'mon, if we're honest, most of the truly cultured people won't waste entire Saturday's watching some guys run or toss an inflated bladder of pig leather up and down a field.

And act like it actually means something in the grand scheme of things.

It's fun to watch and a good excuse to get together with friends and make some noise, but--beyond that--spectator football pretty much devoid of substance.

What does that old GNR song say? "Vicarious existence is a f'ing waste of time."
