Here is another post game by Fred White. Yeah I know some are gonna say oh I don’t wanna give Dave Hooker the clicks. Whatever. I personally like that he has Fred on after games. Like A to Z has Crompton on. These guys have forgotten more football than I will ever know. I like their analysis.

This is a paraphrase but I’ll do my best. He said taking the crowd out of the game was important and we were on our way to doing that until the long TD run. That re-energized the crowd and they had a big impact on the rest of the game.
He said the poor officiating, specifically the timing of the timing of the bad calls repeatedly killed momentum and if it weren’t for that we’d of likely been in the game despite missing two starters on the OL so he has a tough time blaming Milton.

The QB job is won in practice and in the locker room. This is Joe Milton’s team. He doesn’t see that changing. Nico is still very thin.

He thinks we can still be a playoff team but we need to respond the right way.

White made a good point of the timing of the BS calls against the Vols.

Killed any momentum they had going EVERY SINGLE TIME.

Game definitely wasn't on Milton. I can think of 2 bad throws both on slants. Can't throw the ball deep when they can't block for you. Even the INT was from getting hit as he tried to throw an open deep pass. OL and complete lack of DB tackling got us in the hole and the refs kept us there

If the officials had if called the game correctly and we beat Florida with a FG, would you still feel that way?
Yep. Check the thread with the season predictions. I'm on record as saying that 8 wins is about the ceiling for this team. 9 wins and I'd be dancing a jig. Even with the SEC looking a bit down, I see way too many deficiencies on this roster to even remotely entertain the possibility that we could be a playoff team this year. I think we're far more likely to see 6--6 or 7-5 than make the playoffs. If we couldn't get there last season with all that fell our way plus all the NFL talent we had in key positions, there's not a snowballs chance we get there this year. No chance. None.

6-6? Come on now. Let Cooper get back and settle the O line down before we call this season a failure. That's where most our issues stem from. The defensive line had one bad half. I do however think there's no fixing this secondary until Martinez is out of Knoxville. They are what they are at this point.

That’s a safe prediction. Especially now. I had us at 9-3 with a win the swamp but that was before I saw Bama and UGA struggle. At this point I think we’re likely an 8-4 team, but if we pull ourselves together and go to Tuscaloosa 5-1, I’ll have playoffs in the back of my mind

Call me crazy but 5-1 is very obtainable. A&M is that next mystery team. I just don't see how SC is going to beat us. They have no run game and just lost their best receiver

Joe not recognizing a free first down when players were running off sums up the game. Instead of getting an offsides, we get a turnover on downs.

Defense not stopping two 3rd down conversions led to 7 min drives on both. One qtr of football on two drives.

My point was that, from the standpoint of probability, 6-6 is more likely that us making the playoffs with this roster. Not my prediction, but to date, I've not seen anything to lead me to the conclusion that 6-6 is that unrealistic.
