Sampson is having himself one helluva year. He's knocking on the door of 2 rushing touchdown records.

All time single season rushing touchdowns is currently held by Gene McEver at 18 set in 1929. Sampson is currently only 3 behind at 15 rushing touchdowns with 6 regular season games remaining.

All time career rushing touchdowns is also held by Gene McEver at 37 which he obtained 1928-1931. Sampson is currently 9 behind at 28 in only 2.5 seasons.

I know I am rooting for Dylan to get both of these records this year!

Kinda nuts... if he skips the bowl game he is currently on pace to need 1.5 a game to tie the career record. I used my super scientific method (I call it the Pontificator 7000) to track the rest of his season.

Bama 1
Kentucky 2
Miss State 2
UGa 1
UTEP 3
Vandy 2

So he breaks the single-season record in the Miss State game At home. Then being the VFL he is breaks the Career record in Nashville (home away from home) ending the season with 26 and 28 total. that's assuming no playoffs/bowl.

This means we have to checker Vandy again this year.

Under Pruitt, Hendon languished. Would have been the same with Josh, but the Pittsburgh game changed that. Don't know about being pushed to take down field shots. I believe he did even during the Pitts game. I think Josh's system just happened to be what Hendon needed for his real talents to exhibit themselves. Nico, he's young, inexperienced, and basically not ready for SEC level play. He will be, but isn't now. Josh should do what he did with Joe. Sit him and take a peek at the gas man.

He never played a down for Pruitt. He was never coached in a practice by Pruitt.
