Right or Wrong. I think he felt like he deserved to be our #1 target after the camp, and it was obvious that he wasn't. Should he have been? I have no idea.

Im not sold on the fact that the staff thinks he is the #1 target now. JMO

Some opinions will have to change if he comes here. You could be right, at this point, nothing is set in stone.

Why would Brunetti change his mind. i know we are UT, but we were UT when he commited to WV. There game plan fits him better and plus we told a QB that was simular but better last year he would not get much playing time. FWIW I hope he comes and does not read this post.

Good looking list. I just hope you guys get Prater instead of Cobbs. We play a run the ball first and pass second. Now that doesn't mean we won't add more passing to our offense with better QB play and more WRs, but it really isn't Saban's Forte. With that being said I don't think Prater will come to Bama not to mention he still hasn't been on campus yet. That is also an area I think UT will have a problem selling him. Prater is like Jones for us. Three years and pro and to do that he will need three solid years. No offense towards UT but even with all these commits for 2009 and 2010 it might be 2011 or 2012 before they really make a statement and for Prater who can step in at Oklahoma and do that right away with a great system already in place for his type of play that might be the factor. All the WRs in the class are probably right now four years in college, but Prater is a stud who knows the right system as a freshman he can show it, not having a freshman QB trying to throw to him with a young line to protect.

Now I really hope you guys can sell it and land him, because if you do I think we get Cobbs. Otherwise we get neither. So if Prater goes to UT Cobbs to Bama. If Cobbs goes to UT we don't see Prater.

That would likely be the best class in UT history. Many of those guys are long shots though.

Well in one ESPN article he named a top 4, which didn't include UT FWIW.

Also, he was scheduled to visit Tennessee previously and hasn't yet given an excuse as to why.

And I just don't see him leaving the state of illinois, and if he does, I doubt its to Tennessee.

I think we are in the mix. After this weekend we will know better. If we get an official later that puts us in the middle of it. I think it is OU,UT,USC right now, hopefully that changes.

ive heard he's not even a vol fan. ive heard alabama is all over him. to me, it just seems like he's not that interested. i know its very very early but if he hasnt committed yet i dont think he will. thats just me being paranoid. i think hes gonna pull a patrick turner on us but lets just hope hes just playing this whole thing out

The article about his visit seems to hint other wise. He says that idea of early playing time at Tennessee is perfect. He also said UT and USC are the only official visits he has planned. That's good news.

i think we get one of the big names like luc, joyner, prater, and so on. maybe even two of them.
