Recruiting Fix....is one coming soon?

We have half a staff. Recruiting news is going to be slim until the staff is filled most likely. DD already said that this class is not the end all be all to him right now.

I would say one update before NSD week maybe but I really dont see much else really happening recruiting wise.

Well...it sure as hell better be important!!! If we match our coaching gap in the SEC with a talent gap as well then we are ducks in a barrell!

Everyone needs to just chill, we have got a great foundation in place. Fill the rest and get to work building talent.

I don't think I've read one post from you that has been even half way positive.. I know you're new to all this but things aren't as bad as you're making them out to be. Yes, we got screwed but we have a new coach and he is bringing together a very good staff. I think it impressive that even though this recruiting class isn't the most important thing to him right now, he is managing to reel in some of our biggest recruits every day.. We will be fine.

Right now the most important recruiting he needs to be doing is coaches.

He is still making the recruit rounds but most of that would / will be moot if he doesnt have coaches for these kids to talk to or get to know.

Look, I'm only new to this site. I was referred here. I am not new to anything football and especially the Vols. I have said several positive thins since arriving but I have also assesed the situation for what it is...not just what I want it to be. It is this trait along with my insight into football that earned me the request to join here.

I will tell you that the Barnett Hire was solid...very solid. Other than the strong character and integrity of Dooley I am still waiting on some new positive news. I am really waiting because there sure hasn't been alot of it in the last several days - so when I hear it, brother, I will welcome it and we can celebrate together!

DD is on the recruiting trail for both players and coaches in the GA ALA area. Meeting in home with Ambles (rumored tonight) and being in the ATL...He is on it. Give him more than 3 days to put together a staff. We have key pieces coming together and I think you will hear more in the coming days.

Any good additions we get are nothing but a huge plus. I think given the fact we have retained most of our recruits thus far, has really been a good feeling..

Yep! We must pull in some solid O-lineman though. We need to camp out at Ambles house until signing day.
