Too many huge fast bodies moving in too many directions."How could computers ever recognize faces? This ain't chess!"
The money is there, so solutions will be developed. Will take time and capital and demand. With how awful NFL refs are, it's a matter of time.
Not saying it's simple and may be a slow roll out like baseball. But just imagine spotting the ball and being offsides, that's very low hanging fruit. And I can say after working a season for a certain football analytics company...the spots by refs are AWFUL. Never ever slow it down frame by frame for a full game like I had to or else you'll be infuriated how they just guess.
They're gonna make and miss some iffy calls. Its the obvious misses and the ghost penalties that are a pita. I would rather have it this way than with @Sally officiating. There are usually multiple penalties on every play somewhere. Like you say, it's judgment and @Sally doesn't have that ability.Too many huge fast bodies moving in too many directions.
And like it or not there is a valid reason for "judgement" calls...stupid computers would call a foul on every freaking play...on both teams...and 22 guys cannot play perfect.
All I want is decent...non-corrupt officiating....it can be done...I have seen it.
What we are seeing is not incompetence...it is corruption. There is too much money involved for a little thing like fair play to matter.....money ruins everything.
i dont think its corruption honestly, man.Too many huge fast bodies moving in too many directions.
