Milton isn’t Hooker. Milton isn’t a guy that’s going to win you game by himself, but he’s absolutely not the reason we lost today. Just another clueless, lazy “blame the QB because it’s easy to notice” copycat take.

Most scrutinized QB at UT. He played fine.

coaching and refereeing. This is the reason for the outcome. We should have a better play call than we did on 4th and 1 at midfield and we got conservative when we got a big lead. Refs were awful… 9-1 in penalties they held every single pass play, until the SEC off ice is booted out of Birmingham it won’t change. They’re protected.

Great first half! Play calling was great! Milton was great! Defense ran blitzes and was very good!!!

Terrible second half! Play calling was terrible! Milton was terrible! Defense didn’t run many blitzes or do anything special on the line and gave milroe all day and was terrible!!!

Refs didn’t help either!

This was more on Heupel than those two losses.

Heup was way too conservative and the 3rd and 4th and short calls were ATROCIOUS

UGA beat us up and we have a million pre-snap penalties. We couldn't stop USCjr on defense.

SIAP I went on a walk to cool down after the game, but I just saw this and it just makes me so mad. I just don’t get how you can play with the mentality that the game isn’t 4 quarters. Feels like this isn’t the first time I’ve read a player’s post-game interview this year where they said they let up or lost their edge some.

See, I WISH I could say, "we just got beat. They're better, or we just missed too many plays, or whatever...they beat us"...I always have and I always will, when/if we get straight up beat; but, I can't today. I just cant. Just like Ole Miss, just like Purdue. I can't.

This was a touchdown. Who's to say Baron doesn't get home here, maybe another strip? If nothing else, and I want ALL of you who refuse to say officiating didn't play a MASSIVE!!! part today to pay attention...you all see it, right? There in that photo? An outright choke hold for fks sake! That is a fact. Again, this was a touchdown. If nothing else, the points should have come off the board, and Bama should have been backed up 10. Plain and simple. No if, and's, or but's.

And, here's the kicker, not only was Bama allowed to hold so blatantly the entire game...not only did they call a holding penalty on GJL that was beyond laughable compared...not only was Burton allowed to kick our DB, with not just one, but both feet...Bama came out of that sh!t-show with only 1 penalty. THERE'S the crime. The rest is just a joke.

With that said...Heupel has to be better; it's not going to happen, but Joe needs to go (holding the ball 5 seconds...I truly believe the kid is in another world whenever he's on the field...I have never seen anyone with so little awareness); McCollough can't hit the door soon enough, McDonald and Walker, as well. I also question the leadership; seems like there was absolutely zero at halftime...whether it happened or not, idk, but I can see a few of them dancing and "shooting their bow" in the locker room. I really can...Joe being one of them. I know it's an assumption, but Elijah Herring said as much.

This is why I thought kicking FGs would help us not have this mentality.

You see teams get up 21 and then collapse all the time.

Yeah we really ran it on 3rd and 7 on the first drive of of the 3rd quarter

Then the next drive calling that flip play to Sampson

Then we went for it and gave up all momentum

Well at least he's honest. This team is tracking in the right direction.....showed up for 1 quarter vs UF, showed up for 1 half vs bama, maybe we'll show up for the full game vs KY. This team has a hard time on the road.

Confirms what I thought. We went to the locker room at half and felt like we had the game won.

I agree, this game was on the coaches. I kept calling for the punt on both 4th down calls because I knew they were going to try and run it up the middle. That is the only 4th down call they have in the playbook.

I'm sick of UT doing the right thing and staying quiet. I get the ncaa investigation but that's over with. Who has the balls to call out the officiating? Someone's got to. Open the flood gates.
