I want Nico to succeed, but there’s no guarantee. If anything go get a decent guy that’s had some success elsewhere. If we don’t we could be in trouble.

If Nico ends up sucking we’re down to Merk and Shuler.

I heard from a player that practice was not great this week and he doesn’t feel good about this game… fwiw

Must be multiple practices going on then depending on the player. I heard from a player it was the best week of practice they’ve had and that there were zero incompletions or mistakes.

We would be dumb to not try and get a legit portal QB. We have no proof that Nico is going to be a star. Any QB that is actually good will see that all he has to do is beat out freshmen to win the job. If we go into next year with Nico and Merk as our QB room that’s extremely risky. I think it’s a safe bet Heupel will go after someone in the portal. Worst case scenario, the competition pushes Nico to become better.

Arkansas would gladly give up KJ…at least their fans would. Lots of negativity surrounding him being the starter. Lots of rumors Pittman is on the hot seat as a result. At least that’s the rumblings here in North Texas where there are a lot of Razorback alums.

In sports, that usually means the opposite for the game. Can’t make a shot in pregame, can’t miss in the game. Can’t hit the ball well on the range, pure every golf shot during the round. Awkward practices and warmups means focus and flawless execution during the game. Vols by fiddy.
