They put it a yard short of where he actually was. If it was inches like it should have, they QB sneak it. Napier doesn’t trust his OL so tried a trick play. If the officials spotted it correct, they sneak it and get it. And there was nothing on that video to clearly turn the call on the field.

You don’t know that. Again, spot wasn’t great but calling a fake punt on your own 35 rather than just punting the ball deep is incredibly stupid and I’m not going to blame the officials. Punt the ball deep and make them go 80-90 yards to score instead of 30. Just dumb coaching.

EDIT: Wasn’t a fake punt I’m dumb but the point still stands. Don’t go for it this early in your own 35.
