I am going to point out that over the last two games, our opponents have been penalized a grand total of five times for 25 yards. Only about 100 yards below the total of both teams average prior to playing Tennessee.

They call plays into his weakness. He doesn’t do as good sitting back in the pocket trying to read the field. When we started the drive off with quick hitches, comebacks, outs he looks crisps and we move the ball down field with ease. When we run up the middle twice for 3 yards and make him sit back on 3rd and 7 it doesn’t end well most of the time.

for whatever reason we have replaced short and intermediate passes from last year with screens. Which is illogical because more teams are playing man and pressing than last year

I thought they managed that last drive really well. Milked the clock on most snaps and played smart and stayed in bounds.

Remind me when this was…because when Sampson ran out, there was 2 minutes left. It was close, but the clock only stops inside 2 minutes. Milton started his slide inbounds on the 3rd down play, which forced UK to call TO.

Gonna be tough if our opponents keep playing penalty free football during live play. Tonight was two full games without a single live game penalty called on our opponent. Not a single hold, PI, personal foul, etc.

Finally a good win on the road. RBs are elite, good to see Thornton finally flash! Joe’s accuracy has been great the last two games and he’s responded well after that A&M showing.

Really hope we start getting healthier, need to jump on UConn quick so we can get the younger guys playing.
