Just to illustrate how much downtime there is in college football, I left my apartment at 12:40 for a vet appointment for my dog. There was 2:47 left in the 1st quarter. I returned at 1:45 unpaused the game, skipped all the commercials, and I have now caught up in 45 minutes.
