Here comes some tin foil hat thoughts:

If UGA wins next week, they'll tie the Bama record for most SEC wins in a row. I don't think Birmingham will like that too much and it may lead to UT getting a fair whistle vs the dogs.

UGA, even with one loss to UT, still wins the East and can still set up the SEC champion getting a berth in the playoff.

UT beats an undefeated UGA in Neyland. I believe it can happen! And should UGA lose to Lane, then the East will be on the line if UT can beat Mizzou.
