The officials refusing to call clear holds is the major issue affecting our pass rush...totally agree with that...but the soft zone we've been running has also given QBs easy options for getting rid of the ball. There is none so blind, as he who will not see.
An OH has not been called on our opponents OL in the last three games...including a pure scrub..at home..
Even AP was allowed to maul our guys all over Neyland...
Wake up.
If dallas turner isn’t in his final season, if I were the OL coach, he would get chop blocked until he got stretchered off the field. Especially if I was coach for LSU.Just ban Dallas Turner: he should be done permanently. Sankey does whatever he wants: he has no excuse but his criminal bias holding him back. No need to counter that it's not permitted: rigging games is not "permitted," but it happens every week. Birmingham is a completely lawless regime.
Birmingham, as I continue to emphasize, is endangering player safety with its game rigging. Perhaps Daniels' family should sue. It's apparently going to require something like that, since Birmingham has all member schools in a stranglehold, and there is no one else to appeal to.
Not only do you have the Turner assault on Daniels. You have all the Turner illegal hits and deliberate injuries permitted in the past that encouraged this latest assault. So as usual Birmingham encourages dangerous and illegal play by refusing to enforce rules on Bama. Clearly Saban teaches dirty play, and even goes so far as to excuse his player's assaulting a coed. Let Birmingham and Tuscaloosa be sued together. They're joined at the hip, anyway.
Didn’t even include the shoulder dip, crotch chop method. Immediate effect on the OL. Quicker route to the OL playing cleaner…This would work in many cases. Love to see it done to stop this shiz.
Ole Miss O-line had a method of blocking that led to all those QB draws and scrambles that killed us in the Mustard Game. I saw Kentucky recently use the same method in our game. It is effective in slowing the pass rush if it is not called. I have seen many teams employ it over recent years and it is rarely called anymore. Your recommendation would end it quick because the O-lineman's technique would leave him exposed.
The O-lineman stays high on the upper body of the pass rusher. Depending on the inside or outside shoulder pass rush (gap chosen), he will grab jersey at the chest with the inside hand and go around the back at the neck or shoulder with the outside hand. The latter move with the outside hand is illegal. Should draw an immediate flag. How many flags have we seen for it in our games? Zippo. I saw Ole Miss still using it against aTm. I have seen game after game of guys doing it in CFB and NFL - rarely called. Yet, it is blatant, uncalled holding.
Officials are not who they say they are. It is past time for people to recognize it and get vocal about it at the conference level everywhere. Then employ methods in the trenches to make people pay on the field for cheating.
Sure thang Kirby!Dude. Metchie and JMo both suffered non-contact injuries. Harrison went out on a clean hit that was reviewed—a lob pass where the DB hit him shoulder to shoulder after the ball arrived. Harrison went out late in the 3rd and has made his last catch with almost 11 minutes left in the 2nd quarter.
Trey Harris, Q Judkins, and Dart all better watch out. Whichever I'd balling UGA will try and take them out.Sure thang Kirby!
And Mizzou’s QB and top WR got banged up Saturday.
Ole miss better have the docs on standby if they hang around Saturday.
Someone gonna accidentally get hurt if they are close.
I said it here, mark it down.
I guess the secret is out and Kirby will have to fire the witchdoctor now. Sign stealing is for amateurs; we do voodoo in the SEC.Sure thang Kirby!

The bottom line is the refs just simply aren’t really calling holding. I have watched tons of games and they aren’t calling it just about everywhere. So knowing that, guess what? You gotta find a way around it. Even Hubbs and Cain said it. Gotta fight through it and find ways to make plays. The officials refusing to call clear holds is the major issue affecting our pass rush...totally agree with that...but the soft zone we've been running has also given QBs easy options for getting rid of the ball.
Was a good findI don’t remember who said it earlier yesterday, but I appreciate the call out on FAU
