Trying to be rational here. I do think they need to evaluate the Defensive staff moving forward. BUT, that needs to happen after the bowls and after signing day. Poor LB play in run fits. Leaving gaps open in pass rush. Times when the Zones are so soft. Leaving the flats wide open. All of these issues have popped up at various times throughout the year. Not suggesting anyone should be fired but everyone except Garner on that side of the ball needs to be looked at pretty hard when the time is appropriate.

As far as coaching goes, I think this is the 3rd time Martinez has been in Knxoville as a coach, and personally I have never been impressed with his actual coaching in the secondary. I know he is a good recruiter but I have always thought his coaching was lacking.
