For the first time, I feel a Heupel team is helpless. Hadn’t felt that way before about Heupel and Tennessee because the offense has always been able to keep them in games.

This game really does have a hopeless feeling to it. I expect our guys to play with some fire and still be in it at halftime, but it’s just hard to envision them hanging with this Georgia team for four quarters.

I smile when I do it!

If enough people.raised Cain about it , it would generate a spotlight on it. Eventually media.
The Knoxville media sucks for deliberately ignoring the story. One of the biggest stories in football. And easy to document with a staggering abundance of video clips. Backstabbers. We need a real newspaper or weekly.

While I don't disagree overall - I do disagree in this instance that the committee did anything wrong.

The committee literally stuck to the "law of the land" in this instance. All 131+ schools have an agreed upon rule they chose for themselves. Should a committee of a handful of volunteers upend an agreed upon rule...even if they think it's stupid...all by themselves?

I'd question the govt if a committee overruled a law that congress had passed, because those handful of individuals took it upon themselves to decide, despite the apparent wishes of the voice of the country (via its representatives).

The member schools should change their rule if that is their wish. If it isn't their wish, then so be it. JMU already knew the deal and SIGNED UP FOR IT. Reeks of entitled feels of someone that signed up for a deal and then changed their mind lol.

/and yes the rule is dumb and created as a barrier to entry. Both things can be true/
Or they could have just done the right thing and let them be eligible.
