We were 10-2 last year. 8-4 isn't the standard. It's a disappointing season, but the program is still much better than it was under Pruitt, Butch, and Dooley. I'm optimistic we can win more than 8 next year and then be ready to make real noise in 2025

I agree with all of this. Doesn’t excuse some of the awful mismanagement of this season. Hopefully it isn’t a precursor of the future.

if 8-4 is awful, then we’ve always been awful. We’re 10th all time in wins with an 8-4 average. It’s not a dookie record lol.

What makes fans unreasonable is hearing "the receivers haven't dropped a ball all camp" and "Milton has completed every pass this summer". I admit, I was juiced up over the practice reports. Heupel went overboard with hypeing this team up in preseason.

*When Joe came out game one against UVA and looked like the old "overthow Joe", I felt dupped a little. I hung onto that Orange Bowl performance and hoped we'd see that Joe Milton this season.
