I haven’t been online all day. Is this a thing again? Is there smoke about stoops leaving again?
No, but it played out nationally with A&M. He tried to backtrack saying that the performance against Louisville changed his mind.

But here's what everyone really saw.

Coach wanted out of Lexington. Idiots in College Station thought it was a good idea. Fans in College Station revolted. A&M pulled offer. Stoops tried to same face. Just embarrassing as all get out.

Super excited as to seeing so many guys deciding to come back, along with us going after some portal upgrades already. If we can get a Olineman, Joly, Wells, and even a Nolan, along with at least one upgrade in the secondary, we are definitely trending in the right direction.

While I understand where maybe Heup wants to keep the staff intact for one more season, If we see the same garbage secondary and sometimes overall defense we saw this season show up because he kept (Banks/Willie) on staff, Heup has ZERO excuses and deserves to be called out on it.

Called out on what? Despite the gripes from delusional keyboard coaches, the defense has improved every year which has been a part of why, despite the dumpster fire Heupel inherited and Banks has had to deal with, we have been able to win more games than expected.

Playing true freshman OL is off-topic? For the record, that’s confusing. And I thought your argument was SC played their freshman OL THIS SEASON?
No bringing up our record vs those programs was off topic lol. Let's leave it here and prepare for some booms on Thursday.

From Cover 3:

Chip: Is Texas A&M defensive lineman Walter Nolan, former 5-star product, someone who really came on as a dominant player this year, would you say that's the top defensive option in the portal right now?

Bud: Yes, as of this moment. He is ready-made, impact defensive lineman. There's not a lot of guess work there. The guy is a stud. He'll get a huge bag wherever he goes.

Chip: It will be like when he was a recruit and all the big boys were there ready to pull it together for him. Cash in twice, good for you.

Tom: So which SEC team is he gonna end up at? Georgia? Alabama? Texas? [laughs]

Bud: I think maybe another orange team.

Tom: ...Clemson?

Chip: Syracuse!

Bud: Tennessee. He's from there, they recruited him hard the first time. I don't have a crystal ball pick in for it, but yeah.

Tom: Tennessee from Texas A&M? Is that an upgrade?

Chip: Texas A&M is losing a lot.

Tom: If I'm him, and I can go anywhere that I please... maybe it's just a thing where he wants to be closer to home, but if I can get a bag and play for a title contender it would be weird for me to go to Tennessee. But whatever.

Bud: When we did the show this past summer talking to different collective groups, I tried to pick ones that have good reputations, and Tennessee's has a really good reputation. The opportunities at Tennessee, especially if you're from there, could be pretty significant. But schools like Oklahoma and Texas, that's a big position of need for them. Miami is another one. He is going to be a coveted target for everyone.
If the staff offers, I want him.
