I will say, I think distributors may be different for metro nashville area and east TN. Im not 100% sure on that though. But if that is the case, the distro could be selling it higher to retailers

It's $53 here in state controlled VA. I'm not personally a fan, but at MSRP or below $100 it's a solid buy for sure.

I’ve not seen any law stating there is a maximum amount of markup. Only a minimum

Short version: Lady Vols made a quarterfinal run last year. Tied best finish in school history I think, and I think they won the SEC. Recruiting at a Top 10 level. FSU is a blue blood in women's soccer, as well as the ACC in general. They made a run at Pensky and he got a massive pay raise with some of the best facilities in womens college soccer. Bunch of players went with him.

Longer version: Pensky was at Maryland before he was in Knoxville. I think circa 2012 he had some Top 10 classes and took MD to the Final Four or at least quarters. He asked for a contract extension and raise. An alum who's daughter was a USWNT U-18 player and Maryland commit was a major donor and was willing to cover the raise with a donation but the AD said no.

Tennessee called and offered just a little more than he was making and he tried to leverage that. AD said no, so he took the TN offer and all his recruits and the really wealthy MD alum/donors who gave money to TN when their daughter was there. So while I was in Knoxville the team was mostly DC area, VA, MD players. Really good teams but they weren't having a ton of success in tournaments and weren't really recruiting TN girls. Last few years he hit big on recruiting. Some more Southeast players and a lot of GA girls iirc. Also got some internationals like Bunny Shaw (Jamaican superstar). Imo I don't think he ever wanted to be in Knoxville and it took him a few years to embrace it and start recruiting the southeast hard and when he did and got success it drew the eye of schools like FSU.

Chadavian Bradley maybe moving to tight end?

As an aside, what a terrible job by the host - AP drops a nugg like that and you immediately just take the convo to a random sidebar conversation. Like, why not ask if the move to tight end has been discussed or if theres any kind of meat on that bone or is AP just spitballing.

I don't think that's true. It's all over the state in full view.
